Plenty of water…

rushing by in the river here, a good two metres higher than usual, after a morning of rain. Temperature stayed at 5° all day, although the rain went off about mid day. Saw a Grouse looking miserable on the roadside, but not much else was moving. In the garden, both Woodpeckers were on both feeders at the same time! Woodpigeons shook off the drops. Coal Tits, Chaffinches and Sparrows fed hungrily.
