Robert

This is a back blip.The weather on the 3/10/23 was at times very wet.

Roberts funeral today.He was a young man with a young family who farmed next door to me.He died of liver cancer.Not a drinker or smoker just unlucky.The church full and a very traditional service.The vicar/priest (religious guy who stands at the front in a frock) seemed to have no idea who he was or had bothered to find out.He droned on about how merciful and loving his god is but from where I was standing it didn't look like it.

Robert loved farming and all things mechanical.A trained engineer.What could be better than one of the finest machines on the road today as a tribute parked outside the church.

Helen and I did not attend the wake.We raised a glass to Robert over lunch.A fine man.
