Steampunk!

A lovely sunny and warm afternoon for our community choir singing at the Haworth Steampunk Festival.  A great turnout by choir members and tourists alike, and for those in costume some of the outfits were amazing.  This lady stood out in the crowd.  She said she thought she should get a gin & tonic for each photo taken - the amount of interest she was receiving I don't think she would have stayed upright for long!  A selection of other SteamPunkers in extras including organiser Michael lifting his leg to show off his winklepicker shoes, and a couple whose choice of colours for their outfits made us wonder if they supported Leeds United! Even a Halloween spider on one of the cottages was wearing a Steampunk hat!  A few of us later escaped the busy crowds by having drinks in the White Lion at the top of Main Street where it was relatively quiet.  A good afternoon!
