West Wight

So, we are on the Isle of Wight on the most perfect autumn day. I am stunned by how lucky we are. We took the hovercraft.and 3 buses to arrive at our hotel in Freshwater which is on the west coast of the Isle of Wight. It feels so different here - there’s space, soft, undulating countryside and of course the sea virtually everywhere you look. There is such a laidback atmosphere. We had time to walk to Tennyson’s monument before dinner and now P is rejoicing in the Irish rugby team’s score at halftime — apologies to all my Scottish blip mates for this partisan comment.. I am no rugby fan the game is incomprehensible to me !!
