Pickled Beets

I got my Covid booster yesterday and I was wondering how I would feel today. I really wanted to get the bowl of beets pickled. As you can see it was accomplished. I really don't feel bad today. Maybe just a bit under the weather but I certainly could get the beets done.
It's a perfect thing on this rainy day. I also decided to bake another apple/blueberry crisp. I found an old jug of Maine blueberries in the freezer and they worked really well.
The rain has started in earnest now. We'll see how much is in the rain gauge in the morning.
