Best most random day with new friends made
Walked to Little Venice and had a boozy lunch fuelled by Hibiscus mojitos, which were damn delicious and made the world rather fuzzy and funny. L’s cousin also L joined us and contributed to the hilarity.
Jumped in an Uber for a raucous trip to Marks on Oxford Street where amongst other things I purchased pants and florentines.
Did I mentioned I was plastered?
We had been invited for canapés and cocktails at the house of S’ friend who she met in a cruise a few years ago. What a guy.. ex teacher, ex priest, gay and currently a Harley St psychoanalyst. Made for the most interesting conversation. His Spanish husband, an actor in The Crown, Killing Eve and Fast and Furious (!?!?) also a mixologist so made killer negronis and never ending rounds of tapas . How we were spoiled! The finale was silly photos up on the roof terrace, dancing to Wham. Magical funny funny night to remember
To remember that life can be so good! Lest we forget :)
