Shinkansen

And so, my time in the Kansai region comes to end and I'm headed back to Tokyo. It's been wonderful here and my hosts at the Ryokan Kyoraku made me feel extremely welcome during my stay. I highly recommend booking with them if you're planning any trips to Kyoto in the future. 

There was a few things I missed; I didn't get to explore as much of Osaka as I'd have liked and I didn't even make it to Nara in the end but I'll almost certainly be making a return trip to Kyoto sometime in the future.

For now, it's time to explore Tokyo a little more intensely and I cannot wait to get started!
