60163 TORNADO

Well just after I arrived at work today and the steam train 60163 Tornado the first built LNER A1 Peppercorn class steam engine built since the last steam train called Evening Star was built back in 1960 in the days of British Rail arrived in the Waverly station built from 1998-2008 at Darlington with a Class 55 Deltic on the rear for hauling it up to Millerhill Yard my old freight depot and it was nice to see it repainted in Blue rather than the previous green colour as Blue is my favorite colour anyway I will post a couple of shots of the green Deltic in my folio under trains and I noticed all the train crew who worked it could have been mistaken for the black and white minstrel show as they were absolutely manky with soot but it was a great sight to see before heading to Leeds for the day so this is my blip for the day movie for the day is "Twister 1996" Best Viewed LARGE See Ya
