Boston Ivy

This is just one very small area of Boston Ivy that is growing on the wall of my former home.  It's only when I have a canine lodger that I walk alongside the wall as we head towards the grassy verge beside the local railway line.
Once the leaves start to fall the wall will be covered in red stalks that still cling to the stone.

It has been quite damp today but with no significant rain unlike yesterday. I'm just glad that I collected Keta on Friday because the flooding in Aberfoyle yesterday was dreadful with many homes being flooded and folk unable to leave or enter the village
