A blessing

My lovely Smithers will shortly be home. 

His eye pressure was right down to normal levels this morning, and his consultant said “I couldn’t have asked for a better post-operative result”. 

Unfortunately though, since I saw him yesterday afternoon, he has developed a slight temperature which the doctor thinks is probably caused by a virus. This is an added complication because The Traveller is immunosuppressed and will have to keep well away from him.

Otherwise I can’t wait to have him back here. The kettle is all ready filled to make that first cup of elixir for him … 

There was no contest on what I’d blip today; a Blessings rose from our garden.
