Here there and everywhere

Plaza San Jaume, Vilafranca de Penedes

We enjoyed breakfast this morning in our hotel in Castelldefels, on the terrace. After a nice walk along the sea front (it feels like summer but without the humidity!), we got the train to Vilafranca de Penedes - an easy journey of about an hour and a a half, with one change. We’re now settled into this place. The hotel here is quite high tech, which we didn’t know when we booked it, so it took us half an hour to work out that some things just weren’t working and it wasn’t us! Fixed now hopefully, meaning that I don’t have to go round to Bb’s side of the bed to put on the bathroom light and I can put off my bedside lamp without having to ask him to do it!

Bb’s got work here for the next two days and so staying here means that he avoids the commute four times (and a very early rise) and we get a change of air. I’ll do some marking from here, do a private class online and finish off my assessor’s report from my last assessment into Oxford.

It’s a rather lovely old town and this square caught my eye and the place was closed with it being Sunday.

Extra of Bb at the changeover train station on our way here. We both still tend to wear masks on busier trains.
