I have relied mostly on using my camera in manual mode up to this point. Today I decided to try taking shots of people, and testing out the autofocus feature. Unfortunately I was plagued with uninteresting subjects and harsh shadows. I ended up getting no shots of people I liked. Feeling a bit frustrated, I decided to just try taking a shot of this sign, and seeing what I could do in Lightroom to make it more interesting. Not sure it was a complete success, but it is an attempt nonetheless. Perhaps tomorrow I will try photographing people again.
