A good day

A turn around after the difficult day yesterday. I was up early to get the small garden area planted up.  B was much better and fit to drive us to Derby for a hospital appointment. I do the navigation with assistance from Google maps.

We were at the old Derby Royal Infirmary, now named the Florence Nightingale Community Hospital. We arrived an hour early as we were unsure of the situation. There was no appointment letter or information, apart from the phone call asking if B could attend and a text to cancel it if he wasn’t attending. 

Having got there we couldn’t fault the service. B was booked in, seen, care planned and we were on our way home within half an hour.

We found a Dobbies Garden Centre on the way home and had some lunch. Also a wander round the stores on the site.
