I slept for over 10 hours! I leapt out of bed at 9am feeling a bit guilty. Anna and I had planned to go out early and I had slept way past my usual waking up time. She wasn’t upset, of course. Anyway, we were soon on the road. Anna passed her driving test late in life and remains convinced that her driving instructor paid off the examiner. She has no confidence in her driving ability, so we broadened her horizons by driving to Osmotherley for a walk. We stopped on the way back for parking practice and a coffee at The Rusty Bike Cafe. Tomorrow we will do something similar.

We have just returned home from quizzing (and eating) with the youngest sisters and nephew Joel (and his lovely girlfriend Rachel).
