Walking!

Mum is coming along really well. Yesterday she walked for the first time. It was unassisted and went about 20 meters which is great. She got back to her room and then decided she needed to go to the toilet (which is in her room) so got up and walked! I don't think she was meant to do that but it's a great sign!

Joti and I flew back home yesterday but have booked tickets back for a week and a half away. This time taking spencer. He has three weeks of holidays so we will probably come down for the whole time.

Mum had physio again today and went really well again, she even walked back to her room! They have given us an updated time left in the hospital if three weeks instead of five which is great. She might go home while I am still down there which would be good.

Dad is getting organised with fixing up the bathroom. I think he is going to deepen the shower and include a seat which will be good. We have no idea yet what level of help mum will need when she comes home and into the future but its s good idea to fix up for the bathroom for when they get older anyway. Mum us only 58 and dad 59 so they are pretty young yet!

I'm off to watch assembly at school. Spence has to say something and then the class is singing so it should be cute!
