Old Trees

Many years ago the powers that be felt it necessary to raze many of the old trees along the river in lots of areas to ‘beautify’ the foreshore.   
They’re still there being used by the birds as perches and by kids as something to climb on.
Might have been wiser to keep them as shade trees given the issues we’re facing in todays world.
