The difference…

a day makes! A lovely sunny, warm and calm day today. Had been to see and hear the rut and had not been disappointed! Lots of roaring stags, herding their hinds along, buzzards galore, peregrines, and all the small birds, all glad to be out after the rain. There were even Red Admirals on the flowers!
