Rays/Raise/Raze

We took a sandwich lunch to Top Barn this morning.   It has been a glorious sunny day, feeling more like midsummer than October. The place was having a pumpkin bonanza, hundreds of pumpkins were laid out, this was plus many crates full of the fruit.  I've added a pic to the extras, this was just a proportion.  We bought one to make soup, the shop seemed confident they would all sell by the end of the month.  I did notice that they are also giving pumpkins to the chicken's, of which they have many.

After a coffee and a walk round feeding the goats, sheep and pigs, we drove on to Witley Court and took a walk by the huge lake they have there.  The sun's rays were shining on the lake and the water lilies and made for a lovely sparkling display.
