Hot and humid

It took the sun a long time to break through the murk today. But when it did it was just too hot for me to do some garden jobs that had been piling up. The sky has gone white and murky again now. It somehow looks polluted. This is a tiny part of my Virginia Creeper. It seems to spend all year ‘creeping’ but only becomes red for about a week before the colour goes and the leaves fall off.

The news has just come on now. I may be imagining it but many of the reporters on tv seem to be excited by all this ‘conflict’ news. I’m going to have to turn it off. It’s just too depressing hearing the details of how people are killing each other. Why oh why?
