Once It Was, Now It Isn't ...

... well almost.
Rock Nook Mill at Summit, Littleborough, was constructed in 1886 and has been a Littleborough landmark for nearly 140 years, but has been derelict for many years. It was subject to a large fire in 2015 and at the end of August this year part of it suddenly collapsed. A structural survey found other parts of the mill were in a very dangerous condition and complete demolition was the only option.  Sad to see it go.
