Farmer's Field

There's a touch of the pastoral about this one, but a rather soggy pastoral. The farmer had obviously been working to move hay bales to relatively dry spots, and the tractor was left in situ; maybe he'd given up in despair.
Many of the fields round here are seriously flooded, and this one is not actually in bad shape, comparatively. 
The world is looking rather grim at the moment, and for us in the west, it's all eyes east. :-(
