Bee visiting a Salvia flower

A warmish start to the day as I headed off to a sprint cycle class.  I did take it relatively easy as I haven't been for awhile but it was still enjoyable.  Returning home the weather began to brighten and its been a warm sunny day.

After an early lunch I went into Exmouth with my husband who wanted some help on choosing new glasses frames.  A pair were chosen and we returned home.  After various chores and sorting out of my camera gear for an outing tomorrow I popped into the garden where I was pleased to see a few bees still out enjoying nectar from the Salvia flowers.  I'm quite enjoying the late summer warmth we are having.
