Fungi Season

A stunning (in lots of ways) near miss with a massive stag this morning enroute to Millom - not something you really expect on an A road, but a privilege to see.
Lovely walk, but not many people at the drop-in this week, deep clean nvetsations though.

Errands on the way back and a long confidence booster chat with one of our Vols - then spotted this Shaggy Inkcap and it's unknown friend on the lane outside our house. I will keep an eye out for more over the next few days as another name for these easily identifiable fungi is Breakfast Mushrooms.
