At last!

Monday 9th October 2023

On 25th January 2019 we had a fire in the vestry. As we wanted to explore possibilities we didn't do the refurbishment that year. Then covid hit. Then we had a quote which was WAY too high. After a lot of discussion and re planning the work started while I was away at the beginning of the year. We got the shell of the room back and decorated. Then more re planning re cupboard requirements and appointment of contractor but they got delayed with a big contract elsewhere. Today the cupboards finally arrived. By Wednesday I should have a refurbished vestry ... no working in a burnt out shell or trying to robe and work in two places any more! 

They brought the units ready made up but then had to dismantle them to get them into the room! 

Later this week we will have to unpack the "temporary" boxes and work out where to store things. It's quite exciting!
