World Mental Health Day

While Martin was at the swimming pool this morning, I went for an early morning wander along the River Esk, which was lovely.

It was tranquil and serene, listening to the river, birds and nature generally.

I was also reminded that today is World Mental Health Day (every day should be World Mental Health Day) and the importance of looking after your mental Health.

For me, that is knowing how important it is to talk to people, as well as listen, but also to get out and about and enjoy the wonderful world that is around us in our immediate environment. Cats and dogs also keep me mentally healthy!

Also, try and be as kind, generous and understanding of all around us … though, the world seems grim currently, let’s remember there are still many amazing and wonderful things about it.
