282/365 A Country Walk
Last week Jayne visited The Cotswold Distillery at Stourton with a friend and picked up a suggested circular walk sheet / map from there. So today we decided to go back and do the walk. It was about five and a quarter miles and began at the distillery.
Firstly it took us across to Whichford and then through the village and into Whichford Wood. Once back out of the wood we headed over fields to Cherington and then back to Stourton where we started from.
There is a lovely cafe and shop at the distillery and so after the walk we had a pot of tea and a cake each as a reward. Now we know the route we'll be doing it again but this time with friends.
The photo shows Jayne looking across to where we were heading, the five or six trees on the skyline in the middle of the photo. A really nice walk except some road walking at the beginning although it was a very quiet road to be honest.
