First Thing I See

….every morning. Come on Mum - get up!
Who wouldn’t want to waken up to this face staring at you! Don’t answer!
Hannah and I had an early start this morning, with both Geordie and her arriving on my bed while I was still asleep, so we were out for a walk before many people were around. We went along the village and back by the shore. Geordie’s lead has two handles, one halfway along it for more control, but it’s ideal for small girls to hold onto. That way Hannah feels as though she is in charge of walking Geordie while I’m still holding the end of the lead. Geordie, of course, was super well-behaved because Hannah was holding the lead.
When I took Hannah home we all played some games, and Maggie reminded me it was very good of her to let Hannah have a sleepover here since Monday is usually her night!!!
Our afternoon has been quiet and peaceful.
Don just sent me a video of the flooding at Auchtermuchty, where the burn has come right over the walls. Dreadful to see.
