Of bugs and birds...

Woke up to an opaque morning... delightful weather in which to ride Morrigan down to her annual tick-box MOT... Later, as the Sun burnt through the fog, we nipped up to Slimbridge. 

Coincidentally we bumped into JDO, and it will be interesting to see what she comes up with.

It was - despite the lack of fog - quite breezy, and the egret in the extra is having a bit of a moment... however, there were so many European Hornets in the ivy flowers it seemed impossible not to put one up for Tiny Tuesday.

And now a couple of hours to put my feet up before tonight's Parish Council Meeting. Or maybe just an hour... good to check the Agenda notes one more time...
