last night i finished Taft - a brilliant novel.

i also woke in the small hours to see a juicy spider descend on a thread from the ceiling and stop six inches from my face...i didn't sleep after that!

scarier than the spider, i am watching The Reckoning.  
as a pre teen at school in London we all knew that Top of The Pops was frequented by the older girls, and they had tales to tell.  it was common knowledge that there were some very dodgy things going on.  i always found Jimmy Savile revolting and i feel very sad for all the children that he abused. and am so glad that my parents didn't let me go. i hope this dramatisation helps them in some way. Steve Coogan manages to capture the ghastly creepiness of the man so well. top marks to make up department too.
