Canal Ride

After taking our granddaughter to school, we drove to Gilwern Canal Wharf (nr Abergavenny, South Wales UK) to cycle along the canal to Talybont on Usk, on the outskirts of Brecon, with our friends Steve & Julia.

At Talybont we enjoyed a coffee at the local shop/cafe on the canal before heading back to the start, a total of 25 miles in lovely sunshine and stunning scenery all the way. The two extras show a couple of other scenes that caught my eye.

Getting home mid-afternoon I immediately got the mower out to cut the lawns as it's due to rain. Nice to make the most of the sunny weather.
