I met Sue there this morning for a long overdue catch up. I was expecting her to be late, but she was waiting for me when I arrived, having put it down on her calendar for half an hour early!

The time whizzed by and after she left I spoke to the management there and booked our family pre Christmas (Sunday) lunch for 3rd December. It’s difficult to get all 14 of us together unless we book early and certainly beyond impossible to try and organise for the few days surrounding the festivities. So, deposit paid too and now the festive menus are available, so I’ve just got to get everyone’s choices…..

All of which is to explain that I forget to get a blip, and only remembered as I was driving away, so diverted back into the ‘big’ car park thinking I’d get a view across the fields.

I don’t know what this crop is, but it looked good against the blue autumn sky.

I’ve made some decisions about the silly Saturday entries from when I hosted at the weekend, but I really need to do that from the computer, so that will be tomorrow now.
