I've never been to Winchester, and it has taken Roy over 50 years to come back to the city of his student days!

A smooth journey south to Littleton, arriving nicely in time to check in for a few days at The Running Horse. 

Extra is the burnt out car we saw at Northampton Services - so damaged we couldn't even decide what make it was!

A slight contretemps with Google Maps saw us going in the wrong direction for a mooch round the city, but we soon rectified that... Another as we left to head back to Littleton saw us on a bus only route for a short distance - hope we avoid a fine...

Looking forward to a day in Winchester tomorrow - we might catch the bus...
