Out Of This World

The cosmos just keep on giving. To us, and the few bees still about. They seem so lazy, barely able to lift off and fly these last days. Floating from flower to flower they linger and hold on for as long as they can • We’re fortunate not to have had a light frost yet allowing us to enjoy the mums and cosmos a bit longer. I noticed our new turtle plant even has buds on it. A sign it’s happy having wet feet :) • I got so much done today! Mowed lawns, organized our messy shed and began putting chairs, hoses and other summer items away • The news is terribly sad and so awful. I’m tired of war, terrorists, violence, and fighting. So many deaths, innocent victims, hostages, displaced people. The ripple effects travel far and wide • It seems naive to wish for peace and love, but here it is.
