My 4 year old granddaughter Ruby had a kidney removed yesterday. She is now at home, less than 24 hours after the operation and recovering very well. The operation was performed by an excellent Paediatric Surgeon at St. Georges Hospital, London. Two key-hole incisions are the only evidence of an operation.
