Beauties and the Beasts*

An excellent autumn afternoon faffed for fall colors.
Sorry for the double post today...catching up.

The "beauties" in the title include everything here that made me smile: blue sky, yellow wild flowers, changing leaves, winding trail.

The "beasts" are the jetty jacks (big metal girders designed to stabilize the river channel), a necessary evil without which Albuquerque as we know it would not exist.
