Just hanging around

This is a hanging sculpture made of metal which is on our bedroom wall.

When we come to view our house the current owners had it hanging in their spare bedroom. I really liked it so I asked them where did they get it from but they couldn't remember.

The day we got the keys & moved in, the sculpture was still hanging up & as the owners had only moved round the corner I contacted them to say they had left it here but that was their moving in present to us. They realised that I liked it so decided to leave it for us.

A year later & we are now really good friends & really pleased we moved here as it is such a lovely area with nice friendly neighbours.
