We’re live!

The Waitaki Network Inspector was due today but we didn’t know when.  He turned up late morning, looked up at the roof, checked the smart meter outside (which he installed), checked the battery, inverter and “brains”, checked the fuse box inside, then switched on “the brains” and we’re now producing power and have even sent some to the grid.  Very exciting.

Our lovely Blipper friend Mima popped in with her gorgeous dog, Bean, for coffee and a natter and after they left I wandered around the garden taking photos of the new pink flowers and blossom that have appeared.

After lunch we went for a walk to Cape Wanbrow and back, then I spent some time doing computer admin.
