More jewels

I've got a photoshoot tomorrow with a woman who imports emeralds from Colombia and turns them into jewellery, so I've been doing a bit of practice for that with the lightbox. I thought it would be interesting to place them on something different from a plain black or white background ... so this is on a piece of rock we plundered from the Jurassic Coast a few years back – I like the variation in texture. 

I'm getting a bit of impostor syndrome about the job as I've never done anything like it before, but it will be an interesting assignment whatever!
