Feathers

I love collecting feathers - these are mainly Guinea Fowl feathers, with maybe Hadeda, and not sure of the one small feather at the bottom.
The workers arrived today to fix the cottage patio roof that was damaged in the heavy winds., and a couple of leaks in the roof in the house.
They were here most of the day so I was confined  to the house. What to do....I started sorting my study cupboards, and was amazed at the stuff in them!! Photographs, old French notes, knitting.....The hardest part is sorting out the different piles now.
Our house sitters came around this afternoon to meet Pumpkin. We are going away next week and it wouldn't be fair to go away, leaving Pumpkin with strangers. She loved them and so we can go away with no worries.
