It’s been another busy day, dropping Sophie off at school this morning, storing the garden furniture for Winter, back down to collect Sophie for another dance rehearsal for her show on Saturday then Kate came over to collect her afterwards.

I got a phone call from the hospital this morning after yesterday’s appointment, offering me the chance to have the operation next Thursday. As it happens, we’re away next week so I went for the next available date at the end of the month. Remarkably quick service.

The people on the opposite side of our back lane are having a garage and workshop built so it provided an easy , convenient blip for today’s challenge
