Assembly

An early start for me, but not as early as the kids from the school. Mind you, there were still a couple of stragglers making their way from the boy’s hostel, so I felt a bit better.

A difficult meeting took way too much of my day. It boggled my mind that my colleagues thought that taking on an over eight million Rand debt to buy shares in a business would bring a regular flow of income. Neither of them had considered the cost of servicing that debt.

My biggest concern was who they thought would take responsibility for such a hair-brained idea.

Definitely not me!!
