Luggage

This is the only picture I have taken today, and it only got clicked because G voluntarily, without any prompting, walked into the luggage area during our Carrefour shop. Normally, she doesn't even allow me to LOOK. (I'm a real sucker for luggage!)

Anyway, back to the reason why she wandered to this section and looked at a couple of cases. During her solo travels, she found it hard to identify her black suitcase, so a friend helped her by putting something on the handle. This was of great help.

G was looking at the blue case on the left. I guess a quicker way to help identify luggage is to have an unusual colour that stands out. In my logical mind the unique colour catches the eyes of people who might not have honourable intentions.

The first day of the work week went well. It was busy. The best thing that happened was getting time off during SweetArt's visit. G pottered around in the flat, putting things in place. We are getting ready for the arrival of a VIP! :))

We ventured out in the evening - after G delivered a lesson to one of her kids in Switzerland. Carrefour is celebrating 28 years of operating in the UAE, and I didn't want to miss anything. Neither of the cases in the picture, as beautiful and reasonable as they were, came home with us. :(
