English Tea Party

We hosted an English Tea Party today for all of our American friends. My sister and I tried to make our own, reliable recipes. However a word of advice, never try to make English recipes with American products and translate metric into cups and expect perfect results. The chocolate cake sank in the middle, the shortbread biscuits barely held together and my sister's cup cakes ended in the bin! The sandwiches and the tea, Earl Grey, Green and Darjeeling were OK though.
