Little Grebe

Walking Poppy on the canal bank it was lovely to see this little grebe. I've never seen one here before. Both of us stood there with heads peering through the reeds trying to get a glimpse as no sooner did it reach the surface but dived almost immediately.

I had both my Covid and 'flu jabs yesterday so my immune system should be rocking but the eye infection is getting worse and I've now a raft of lotions and potions none of which seem to be working and have booked appointments with both the Opticians again and the doctor next week. I look now like Sith from Star Wars - fantastic.
