Waves on the shore

It was only 5 deg C when I got up to take KK to work this morning but it soon warmed up during the day. I took this photo during my wander along the shore which was cut short by the rain.
I made some soup and entertained visitors who arrived bringing cake, very yummy.
A lovely peaceful evening ahead for me although hubby will be attempting to service the rayburn using KK as his hands. We have little heating until that job is done. There may be some shouting
