The old courthouse, Cockermouth

I'm sure many of you will have seen it on the news, but the Old Courthouse Building in Cockermouth, collapsed into the river over the weekend. This was the closest I could get to it, as the bridge, and all nearby access has been screened off (possibly the first time I'd have liked to have a drone).

That's one of the things about Blip - it's important to record local history and events. In a couple of years time, it's so easy to forget when things happen.
