Blue Tit Family

One of the nest boxes built by The Bros at the WEx group at RSPB Loch Leven has been chosen by Mr & Mrs Blue Tit as their home of choice this year.
They have been frantically going back and forth feeding their noisy youngsters for over a week now. It seems they never stop and are looking a bit bedraggled and harassed. Lets hope all their efforts pay off and their young fledge successfully.
The nest box is in the apple tree next to the washing line and is proving a great distraction, I spend ages watching the comings and goings. Much more enjoyable than laundry.
We have decided that we need a nest box camera rigged up for next spring in the hope the box is used again.
