Scribbly

Here is the trunk of a young "scribbly gum" tree. These plants routinely suffer graffiti from their resident scribbly gum moths, who, in their larval stage, burrow aimlessly about through the bark structure, to produce a ... um ... "scribble".

I have featured more mature versions of these in the past. In this case (as usual) I was simply overtaken by the light quality.
