Queen Elizabeth ll Bridge

I've been to visit my mother and have just literally arrived home following the usual dreadful journey on the M1. littered with accidents and lane closures. Exhausted. Going to the pub for a bite to eat!!

The things I do to get a blip! This shot was taken in the early hours of this morning. Hence this is about as empty you will ever see the Dartford Crossing toll booths!

Within 2 minutes of setting up the tripod, I was surrounded by what looked like armed police. This is a critical asset and you are not allowed to photograph it I was told.

I said I did a daily photo journal, that I had worked out from where the best place was to grab a shot from the Internet etc., The Police calmed down and told me I had five minutes.

The exposure was 30 seconds, the noise reduction the same. I managed two shots when I finished setting up and then putting the kit away. I was escorted off the location.
