Back to brown

Back to brown cake, but I rather like the simplicity of this shot. These are date and walnut scones and came out very well. I prefer my scones unmucked about with but I don't have a choice when the recipes are donated.

More feedback on the posted samples. More thumbs up, so I've been researching packaging today. It's a minefield of single or double wall corrugated cardboard, natural or synthetic greaseproof and foil or card bake-in trays (just between the two of us, I love doing this sort of thing really).

Hospital appointment first thing tomorrow then honeyed pear pie, date slices, fruit slices and possibly chocolate Malteser tray bake. Depends how knackered I get!
